Our Story
Curating A Quality Experience
CURATE was founded by Brooklen McCoy out of a desire to raise the standard of hairdressing in Leesburg and beyond. After receiving a classical education under the guidance of a classically trained mentor, Brooklen developed a deep appreciation for precision, artistry, and timeless technique — principles often missing in today’s fast-paced salon environment.
Determined to create something different, Brooklen envisioned a space where hairdressing would be treated as a refined craft, not a rushed service — where quality, luxury, and integrity were the foundation of every appointment.
CURATE is that vision brought to life. It is a salon where each guest is seen, heard, and styled with intention. No double-booking. No distractions. No gossip. Only exceptional service and impeccable results.
Today, CURATE is also a family business. Brooklen’s husband, Jonathan — himself an accomplished hairdresser — works alongside her, sharing the same commitment to excellence. Together with their newborn son, Bruno, they are building not just a salon, but a legacy of elevated hairdressing for their community.
